My story
Filipe Marques
Hi, I’m Filipe!
I’m a Multimedia Specialist focusing on the areas of professional photography, video, web, 3d art and linguistics, with featured work for several different clients in these fields. I am always looking towards new opportunities and new challenges in these fields or other related areas, where I can learn and improve. With my 3d modelling and animation background, which I acquired when I attended the London College of Communication, I learned early on how to combine different artistic disciplines, and how necessary it was to fully understand many rules, from so many different roots.
I used those skills to graduate from the University of Westminster with a BA in Film and Television Production (Hons), where I honed my craft, and sought to comply to the excellent standards of the faculty of media, arts and design. Afterwards I returned to Porto, my hometown, where I embarked on a different set of challenges at SGINT Consulting, in the media department.
Currently, I am working as a Freelance Translator for one of the top 5 global language service providers, focusing on technical and commercial translations in the IT and Gaming sectors.
